Wood Elves (Bosmer)
Consisting of the various barbaric Elven clanfolk of the Western Valenwood forests, these people are known widely as the "Wood Elves," but their true names are the "Bosmer", or "The Tree-Sap People". "Tree-sap" describes the wild vitality and youthful energies of the Wood Elves, in contrast of their professional cousins, the Altmer and Dumner.
Widely rejecting the stiffness of their cousins, the Wood Elves are simple and happy with the land's beauty and creatures.
Nimble and quick in body wit, the Bosmer are natural hunters. making themselves perfect for scouts, agents, and thieves. Their most notorious skill is the mastery of the bow; for there are no finer archers in all of Tamriel than the Bosmer.
