Argonians
The Argonians are the reptilian folk from the treacherous swamps of Argonia, or commonly known as "Black Marsh." Misunderstood and unknown to the majority of Tamriel, the Argonian prefer their mysterious nature to remain so now that their kingdom have seceded from the Empire and conquered the homeland of their past slavers, Vvardenfall, after the Ministry of Truth crashed onto the islands.
Immune to almost any natural disease or poison due their evolution in the swamps and have a unique appearance that depends on usually how much Hist sap is ingested by a Hatchling, making more or less human.
Yet all are capable swimmer and have both gills and lungs, enabling them to breath on land and in water.
Their seemingly expressionless faces hide a calm intelligence, and many Argonians are well-versed in the magical arts. Others rely on stealth or steel to survive, and their natural agility makes them adept at either skill.
They are, in general, a reserved people, distrustful and hard to understand. But when their trust is gained, they are fiercely loyal, and will fight to the death for those they have named as friends.
